There are three distinct variations of Velociraptor which were cloned by InGen, not counting sexual dimorphism seen within each individual version. However, despite the surface level variations, each sub-species remains relatively similiar in terms of physical attributes. Each species is roughly 6 feet tall…

Admit it, we all watched Jurassic Park and were left with two thoughts – the want to go there, and the want to take a piece of it home with you.

Factory Entertainment has a few more Jurassic Park products coming out this year, which you can see in our New York Toy Fair gallery on Facebook. The model on display there had the illuminated flames turned on, which looked quite nice in motion – though it may be hard to tell from the brightly lit photos.

  1. $250 for this??? Look at that paint job on the explorer! Man that’s and insane price. Especially for us to order in Canada. 300 bucks plus shipping, and customs. Hard pass. And I was really looking forward to this too.

    1. Cheapest shipping option to Canada is another 60 bucks. So 276 USD to CAD is $358 + approx $40 bucks in duty…

  2. I bought this company’s Jaws Motion Statue when it first came out and was *really* not impressed. I can’t even imagine paying what they’re asking for this. It’s ridiculous. It’s probably the best-looking thing I’ve seen from them so far, but yeah. That price.

  3. Yeah, it’s quite neat and all, but that is absolutely not worth $249, with or without the 10% off (which is really generous of y’all, don’t get me wrong). All the same, I’m sure collectors who have enough money to justify the purchase enjoy it, because it is a cool item.

  4. Honestly looks like a year 12 clay project. I’m too reserved to go out and grab everything just because it has the JP logo on it. This is something else I’ll be skipping.

  5. Damn, I was thinking about buying this when I first saw the prototype, but not at $250. Not even close! That paint is really bad, there’s no brush guard and the center roof light is missing.

Is it too much to ask for highly detailed JP items that are screen accurate, if the companies are demanding such high prices?

  6. I would absolutely buy it. Undoubtedly. BUT THE PRICES!!! Does it come with real fossils or something!? It looks so cool though. It’s nice that you can move the doors and car though. But who is going to pay $250 to put this on a shelf (Besides Gaming Beaver. He would do a review for it, then do that) Besides display, all i could do with this is a stop motion short of the car going through the gate. Full Summary: Awesome, but overpriced; even with 10% off.

  7. I think FE did a great job, and ive been wanting some rendition of gates for a while.

But I agree with others the price is too high for me and personally can’t take much more polystone (though the gates feels right as PS, where as dinos dont).

  8. NO EXPENSE!!!!
    (checks price)

You’ve got ot be kidding me. Just for plastic, clay (I think) and electric lights. I could probably make this with there mold and make it $49.99

P.S. I have to admit, the sculpture does look good though.
