Note: the Savage Strike ($9.99) assortment will continue, and feature Sauropelta, Postosuchus, and a new Velociraptor with its first wave.

While the above is just a tease of all the new toys to come, it certainly is revealing of the direction the new expansion is taking. The Tarbosaurus is the most exciting of the reveals, as it not only shows off a brand new toy, but gives a great idea of what the stunning new box art looks like! As we previously revealed, some of these toys are related to Camp Cretaceous – we’ve learned the Carnotaurus is one of those toys, and it’s one of they key species in the show (as such, it will be the key TV driver for the Spring Primal Attack ads).

We also are quite excited to see electronic toys at a smaller scale with the Sound Strike range, meaning we will likely see electronic Velociraptors and other species around that size. We’ve since learned that the Sound Strike assortment are larger dinosaurs, and the successor to Roarivores.

What part of the latest reveal are you most excited by, and what do you want to see with the new toy line? Sound off in the comments below, and as always – stay tuned for the latest news!

  1. Nice! I’m definitely gonna keep an eye out for the Sarcosuchus, Carnotaurus, and Tarbosaurus! I’m also excited to find out what the sound strike assortment will be!

  2. Just bought a new JP “Dino Screams” Raptor with collector card the other day. Paid for it with all the money I’m saving on these…

      1. I’m just in the process of collecting as many O.G JP toys as I can find… And afford. According to Gustav, I’m a lot of things, but rich ‘aint one of them! :p

  3. Am I the only one who thought Ultimasaurus with those colors on the Tarb? I hope the foot claws get painted though. I like the packaging, but really, Owen? still?

    Can’t wait to see what the Sarcosuchus looks like and how it functions. Kinda wish all aquatic reptiles/ dinos were ‘real feel’ but whatevs.

    I wish that Carno was demon colors.

    Do we really need another EC Rex? I don’t want it/ have space for it, but must buy it. haha

    1. “but must buy it”… THAT is why their making another one 😉 They’ll always repaint the popular ones because they sell. Then they’ll release a couple super wired choices that no one actually really likes but every “armchair paleontologist” will jump on because the weird names make them sound smart… It’s all pretty basic marketing. People like you fall for it every time. That’s not an insult btw, just an apparent fact.

      1. ‘must buy it’ ..because I’m a completionist. No matter what dinosaur they repainted I ‘must buy it’. I’m not sure what the ‘super weird choices that no one actually likes’ you’re referring to are but one of the most repainted molds is the attack pack gallimimus and I don’t think that is one of the most popular dinosaurs that sells. That is your theory right? What is the ‘basic marketing’ plan you are so clever to point out Ben? Popular things sell and companies capitalize on them? Thanks for letting me know. I don’t know what people like me are ‘falling for’… We enjoy things you don’t? You can get help for your delusions of grandeur Ben, that’s not an insult by the way.

  4. I would like so much that Mattel redo for 2020:
    -the Tarbosaurus with some modifications: the tail not short (measuring at least half of the whole body), https://prehistoricpalace1.weebly.com/uploads/4/4/1/0/44103077/460883763.jpg?761
    smaller feet https://1850516970.rsc.cdn77.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/BDDefinitionDinosaursAlive3D-6-1080.jpg
    as well as metatarsals a little longer;
    -deinosuchus and/or purussaurus in addition to sarcosuchus;
    -For “Extreme Chompin ‘T-Rex”: Feet smaller and a tail a little longer (measuring half of the total length of the body) https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/dinosauriosdgmp/images/5/52/Spineci8.png/revision/latest?cb=20110716131515&path-prefix=es .
    -And for the “Mosasaurus Real Feel Skin”: the body a little longer, the tail longer and bigger:

  5. This all looks great but the Tarbosaurus is looking a little cartoony. Eh, it’ll grow on me. However the rest looks fantastic!

  6. These are so much better than those goofy, nearly inarticulated hunks of plastic from the 90s, thank god we got some progress.
