There are three distinct variations of Velociraptor which were cloned by InGen, not counting sexual dimorphism seen within each individual version. However, despite the surface level variations, each sub-species remains relatively similiar in terms of physical attributes. Each species is roughly 6 feet tall…

Japanese ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ Trailer Reveals New Footage!

The Japanese edition of the final Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer has made its way online, and it may be the best one yet!

As always, going forward it’s best to understand that there are potential spoilers in the footage, and if you want to go in blind, you should look no further. That said, this doesn’t really show any new scenes, but rather extended looks at already revealed scenes, and is quite a well put together trailer.

Check it out below!

Overall, this trailer hits all the right notes: the beauty of the island and dinosaurs, the danger and adventure that comes with the territory, and the scares and mysteries that preside over that entire experience. It alludes to what else the story has to offer, without outright spoiling it (as the ‘Final Trailer’ did). It teases the Indoraptor without fully giving him away.

While I appreciated some of the epic shots from the final trailer, and they no doubt won over my excitement, I vastly prefer this trailer to it. If only I could erase some of the other spoilers best left for theaters from memory.

What are your thoughts on the latest trailer, and are you trying to avoid spoilers? Sound off in the comments below, and as always, stay tuned for the latest news!

  1. wow 😀 I love that trailer.
I really hope that Blue will survive the fight with the Indoraptor. Otherwise Part 3 could be disastrous, because Blue is the real Hero and the most important charakter from JW.

Can’t wait to see the movie. Presale in Germany begins in about a month 😀

    1. really? I cant stand the raptor-police dog anymore. It destroyed the image of the raptors in these movies. in JW was great when at some point the raptors became unpredictable and dangerous again.. this time is getting even more cheesy with Blue being hero AGAIN. if blue and Owen die i this movie I will be even relieved… that way we would finally get some some real unpredictability and sense of fear

  2. Sigh. I will not watch those new versions of trailers. I feel like this is the marketing campaign of JW again, which spoiled so many key scenes of the movie that I was not surprised by JW in the cinema at all. The only surprise was Mosasaur grabbing I-rex.

Please, if there is some new scenes in the screenshot you took from trailer at least leave it blured in article till someone clicked on it directly.

    1. right? that was basically the only surprise. we could know exactly how things were going to happen as we were watching the movie.. it’s going to happen the same

      1. I don’t know if there is a point to bring too spoiler heavy trailers up to director or anyone that works in Universal. We have key scenes that we can put in chronological line and Voila. No big surprises in the cinema. That’s why I like Marvel’s trailers, they mix scenes so much and choose them wisely, so we don’t know when showed scenes take place in the movie.

Mosasaur Ex Machina viewers could have guessed in the cinema (On side note, I still cannot believe Colin made gatling gun gunner miss I-rex in the script, that killed my suspension of disbelief). That’s why I’m quite displeased knowing Colin is going back to direct JW3. He should not touch this franchise and instead leave it to Bayona.

  3. This movie looks like one of the best Jurassic movies. I am sooo upset that bayona is not returning to direct the 3rd. Fuck Collin

  4. I am going to guess that there will be a span of a year or so between the events of the island and the 3rd act of the movie and that the Indoraptor is Blue’s DNA and the DNA of the Indominus.

  5. Look at the picture on the video. Blue is hurt. I think(and hope) it is from the Indoraptor fight. I hope it is because that would mean that blue at least survives the fight initially. Poor Blue.

    1. It looks like a bullet exit wound. When bullet hit the body it leaves small entrance wound, but if it flew through the body and left on the other side, the exist wound would be really nasty. At least this is what I get from the movie thumbnail. No way I’m going to spoil the movie myself more.

  6. Man. Fallen Kingdom was AWESOME! Those who haven’t seen it yet are really missing out! Sad we now have to wait a couple years before the third one comes out.

  7. I don’t know why, but Fallen Kingdom has a TLW feeling to it. Maybe it’s the rescue operation and its darker tone. The Carnotaurus looks amazing and the other dinos as well!!
