There are three distinct variations of Velociraptor which were cloned by InGen, not counting sexual dimorphism seen within each individual version. However, despite the surface level variations, each sub-species remains relatively similiar in terms of physical attributes. Each species is roughly 6 feet tall…

  1. Loved the trailer! The spoilers weren’t too big (since I’ve analysed the heck out of the toys, especially the LEGO ones) I already new the hunters were going to betray the DPG.
    This movie is gonna bomb!

  2. I don’t care how much this spoils. It’s got all the hype. I’ve been in since ’93, no need to slow down now.

  3. Holy fudge no kidding it is spoilerific lol. Still excited and looking forward to seeing it though but damn, showed a bit much…………..can’t wait to see it.

    1. “You thinking what I’m thinking, kotabear?” Lol cannot they need to rename blue to kotabear. That line would be amazing! Haha. Yeah I agree definitely a cheesy line. But now I just want to rename blue haha. Your screen name is awesome.

      1. Lol my name is dakota and ima bear so yeah.
That scene made me cringe among a few others. I just don’t like the misplaced comedy during tense scenes

    2. Terrible yes… and have you seen Owens face there? Now they are cgi-ing over humans too? Owen looks so weird there!

  4. So many spoilers indeed but yet the best trailer of the bunch. Im sure theres still room to surprise us at the cinema though.

    1. I wouldn´t be so sure.. there is a limit of WOW moments a serious movie can have and I think they showed most of them if not all of them. the only thing still to see is how all those moments end up. It happened the same with JW. they even showed the helicopter scene..

      1. They’ve shown barely anything of the submarine and mosasaurus scene, though. I’m sure that’ll be incredible, and there’s Indoraptor scenes we haven’t seen too. It doesn’t look like all the best scenes have been spoiled like Jurassic World.

  5. Looks good! Though the CGI of some close-ups looks terrible, the one of Blue at 1:22 – what were they thinking? Couldn’t they use an animatronic model since Blue is a lot of the scenes of the film?

    1. That was the only let down for me in the trailer. That CGI scene is really bad followed by that cliche sentence.. Cringe

      1. I know right, I wondered why the earlier shots of blue on Nublar looked really good, but the close up of her later on looked like it was taken from a game? Well there’s a good chance they’ll fix it before the movie is released.

  6. This bothered me for a while… and again today with this trailer!
Don’t you have the feeling that there are 2 Indoraptors, with different sizes?
One seems to be big, and the other a lot smaller (like in the scenes up the roof of the Lockwood Manor).

    Or is it just me?

But great great trailer, very energic!!
    Can’t wait!

  7. Well, it looks like this movie is gonna go down exactly the way I thought it would.

And you know what? That’s alright with me.

  8. There are still so many unanswered questions which is fantastic! Definitely not too spoilery…although I am extremely sad that they can only save 11 species… I guess that means no sauropods get off the island since they’re so big 🙁 🙁

  9. does it show much more than what we saw in the teaser and what entertaiment weekly have shown already? Im for now resisting but if it doesnt reveal more than that…

  10. Really worried that Rexy will die on the cargo ship, we know she gets loose from her container (which I am assuming takes place on the ship?) and then we have seen a couple of shots of her in the rain with a helicopter, but the finale of the film very much seems to be Blue and Indo at the Lockwood Estate, no sign of Rexy there. Unless they’re keeping her a secret? I just hope she isn’t done away with after the island 🙁

    1. Haven’t watched the trailer, but my impression always was that they were going to move the dinos to another island that wasn’t Nublar/Sorna.

  11. There we go. DPG was used as useful and silly pawn. It was quite obvious to be honest. Claire desire to get rid off the guilt she had after JW collapse blinded her completely.

Of course, Universal Pictures could not help itself and spoiled entire plot of the movie.

  12. Jurrasic-level spoilers just get us more and more excited for the movie itself. These spoilers are just enough to give a story line and confirm that I want to see this movie as badly as I have the four movies before it. I cannot wait!

  13. Wow I didn’t think this franchise could sink lower after the pretty bad Jurassic Park 3 but this looks embarrassing. Jarring tonal shifts, goofball comedy, absurd dino/human relationships, bad CGI, zero tension.

This is garbage and I’m dreadfully disappointed.

    1. Agree on the dino/human relationship. The “you thinking what I’m thinking” line was unbearably cringe worthy. I so badly wanted blue to lunge at his jugular and rip Chris Pratt to pieces when he said that.

    2. Absolutely agree Shifty. No sense of discovery…suspense… no realistic characters. People always go off and say ow it’s not about the humans but for me they are just as important. I don’t like Owen and Claire. And that scene at 1:22 is ridiculous! Why is Owen’s face cgi?!

    3. Looks like a fun dinosaur movie but the trailer doesn’t suggest that it might have anything like the quality of storytelling or cinematography of Jurassic Park.

      1. People aren’t allowed to have an opinion that is different from yours? I happen to agree with Shifty. The movie looks terrible. The ad campaign is terrible. I LOVE this franchise, but we haven’t gotten a good movie since Lost World. Was really hoping this would be it, so you can imagine the frustration a few of us have.

  14. I knew it. I just knew it!

I should just become a hermit nowadays for movies, only reappearing for when the movie hits theaters.

    1. I haven´t seen this trailer yet, but Im already seeing captures of it everywhere. there is no escape. I guess in the end I will watch it because during these two months is going to be impossible to keep avoiding the spoilers

  15. Than just leave this site man. Just be gone…. Don’t you dare to become another Ben. The one that’s already ruining every comment section on this site makes my blood boil enough already!

    1. I’m only a curmudgeon with Trailers.

      Did you get that? Trailers.

The JW trailers spoiled everything for me, so any movie trailer is bad.

The trailers of yesteryear were far better than today’s.

Again, only a curmudgeon with TRAILERS, everything else is fine, I am totally on board with this move, just not the careless marketing department.

      Geez, no standards today….

    2. My God, some major error occured here. My message should have been a reply on Shifty, as I pushed the reply button under that message, not on TheFeatheredDragon.

      1. How are different opinions ruining this site? Some of us expect more from this franchise. I guess having high expectations from one of the biggest science fiction franchises is just asking too much. The ad campaign is complete garbage. It makes me think the movie will be complete garbage too. We deserve better. Sorry if this upsets you. Upsets me that we’re getting another crappy Jurassic movie.

      1. Ben isn’t just a person anyway. He’s an idea. A philosophy. If he goes, another will take his place. Anyone can be Ben. He’s in all of us. Some of us just hide him away.

    1. So now anyone that dare criticize this is swine? What has happened to the world? This isn’t how things used to be. People were more intelligent and polite. A good example of a healthy franchise is the Alien/Predator fanbase. We all have different opinions, but when it comes down to it, we love each other because we all share something in common: Love for the source material. Calling fellow Jurassic Park fans swine…tsk tsk. That’s sad.

  16. The trailer shows a T. rex in 2 different shipping containers. This leads me to believe that there might be more than one T. rex in the film. Maybe a mate for Rexy?
