Welcome to the Jurassic Outpost!

Hello, and welcome to Jurassic Outpost, your home for all things Jurassic Park and Jurassic World! We hope you like our new look – we have been working very hard for the past few months to bring this website together and we are very happy to finally be open! And we couldn’t have chosen a better day – Happy Jurassic June!

Take a good look around the website which has been populated with content from all aspects of the franchise. We have also opened our brand new discussion boards – The Jurassic Forums – so join up there for some friendly Jurassic discussion!

Along with our website rebrand, we have rebranded our podcast to InGeneral, which I’m sure many of you Trespasser fans will appreciate. We are continuing with the same format, and our debut episode under our new name, featuring an interview with Matt Winston, is now available below!

We are also pleased to announce our brand new encyclopedia – something Alex and the team have been hard at work on for a some time now! The encyclopedia is in on-going development and is constantly growing with facts and information about your favorite franchise. Be sure to take a wander over there and have a good look around. We are looking for contributors, so if you are interested in writing about the franchise then please get in touch!

I do hope you enjoy navigating your way through our new website. There are some areas that are still in development, so please excuse any mess! I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for following our website and social media feeds over the past few years and for those who listen to our podcast. We love hearing all of your feedback and we are excited to continue this experience with you all!

In case any of you were wondering what happened to all of the news from the old website – don’t worry, it’s safe and it will be available for you to read on this site in an ‘archived news’ section. Stay tuned for that!

Here’s to an exciting month! Long live Jurassic Park!

  1. Welcome back. I missed you, guy(s)! I’m dying with anxiety for news on the new sequel, even though each step at a time is OK for me, lol Right now, I can’t wait to know the sequel’s official title. What’s the event that takes place in San Diego in July (forgive my ignorance: I’m not American)? Do you guys think Universal will unveil the title there?

Btw, congrats on the new layout.

    1. San Diego Comic Con is in July 🙂 maybe they’ll reveal it then, but it would be very cool if they revealed the title this month, as part of #JurassicJune!

Thanks, glad you like the site!

  2. Thanks, Jack. Well, I can only hope they take advantage of #JurassicJune to reveal the title (even though I don’t know exactly who created this whole “JurassicJune” thing – isn’t that a fan thing which traces back to the fact that the films have been released in June?). Anyway, the sooner, the better. If they do it this month, I’ll obviously be pleased. But if they don’t, I hope they don’t exceed Comic Con. ; )

  3. I think that this website for all of the Jurassic Park movies is and will continue to be the best Jurassic Park website ever established, even better than the Jurassic World one that was created. I have been waiting for a long while for this to be published live. By the way, check out my brand-new dinosaur website which I created using the Wix website creator. I really hope that you will enjoy its simple, yet interesting facts on just a few types of dinosaurs. Thanks again, and enjoy:)

  4. The website looks really good. I hope I can help with the encyclopedia!

So far I only have one question since I’m just getting use to whole site, how can people private message me back? On my profile only my email is listed as a way to get in touch with me.

Any way maybe I’ll find out how or someone can tell me.

  5. Great looking JP site!

So far I only have one question: How can anyone private message me back as on my profile only my email is listed as a contact?

    1. Thanks for the feedback!

The best way to join in discussion via private messages would be to sign up for an account on our Forums.

If you haven’t already, check them out!

  6. Thanks! I’ve figured out how to do it. And sorry for the double post, I thought the first comment didn’t go through. Oh well it’s good to be here!
