There are three distinct variations of Velociraptor which were cloned by InGen, not counting sexual dimorphism seen within each individual version. Asset Out of Containment! The Indominus Rex Has Arrived in ‘Jurassic World: Evolution’!

The hybrid everybody loves to hate has finally arrived in Jurassic World: Evolution! That’s right folks, we have a new attraction; and it’s the Indominus Rex!

For those of you who need reminding, the Indominus was the love child of Henry Wu in Jurassic World. A killer blend of Velociraptor and T. rex, it is known infamously as the creature that took down Jurassic World!

With a bullet proof hide and psychopathic tendencies, it will surely be a force to contain in the game. Perhaps you’d better put A.C.U. on alert now?

In case you missed it, we visited Frontier’s Offices in Cambridge (Hey! Isn’t that where Nedry’s people are?) and got talk to the people building the game! Check out our video below:

  1. They will have to tweak the A.I of this one wont they? It also needs to be able to camouflage…

Also, shouldn’t the Spinosaurus be a part of the hybrid group?

    1. All of the dinosaurs have completely different Behaviour Trees, we took a little peak at Frontier and they’ve gone above and beyond to make sure each species has a different personality and needs!

    2. Darcy seems has a very high and sensitive comfortability meter, like, a small shred of blue(where you must keep it) at the very top and the rest is red. If it goes just a little bit into the red, all genetic hell breaks loose.

Also, seems to have a very sensitive sociability rate, which means it may only stand itself being the only one in its enclosure.

I noticed this while watching BestinSlot’s video on the Hybrid Profile released by Frontier.

I do hope it camouflages, especially when it’s on the loose and you’re trying to capture it.

      Hope this helps

  2. Been waiting a long time for this…preordered the second I could. The 12th can’t get here fast enough.

  3. I bought it yesterday and absolutely love the game. The graphics are so realistic. True to the JP franchise!!!
