There are three distinct variations of Velociraptor which were cloned by InGen, not counting sexual dimorphism seen within each individual version. However, despite the surface level variations, each sub-species remains relatively similiar in terms of physical attributes. Each species is roughly 6 feet tall…

For those following the production closely, they will recognize the temporary ‘June 22nd, 2018’ logo from the date announcement which happened in July of last year. While the logo isn’t anything new, it’s still exciting to see some official promo material. It’s unclear if the untitled Jurassic World sequel has any other presence at the expo, perhaps behind closed doors, but we will be sure to post any updates should they arise.

Stay tuned for more news – admittedly it seems unlikely we will get anything substantial before San Diego Comic Con, if even then.

  1. please dont be like JW 1. very unrealistic CGI bad plot and borderline failure lines. very catchy for ages 5-12.
try to make it more like the old ones please please please

    1. Unrealistic CGI? What? I must have read that wrong. Bad plot? JW’s plot wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either. Borderline failure lines? That’s not tru…Okay I’ll give you that one. IMO JW was a very fun enjoyable film with a good amount of flaws but worthy enough to be a part of this great franchise. But serously though, unrealistic CGI? JW’s CGI was fantastic!

  2. Hey, the coppery brown color is interesting, unless it’s just the photo giving it that hue. Would love to see an African or Outback setting in the series.

  3. I really hope they break the official title next month at San Diego Comic Con. I can’t wait to know “what movie” I’m waiting for.

  4. An African game reserve setting actually sounds like the best idea presented. Perhaps wealthy folks pay exorbitant amounts to hunt these dinos?

  5. Here’s to hoping that Universal will announce something at this year’s SDCC. We Jurassic fans are itching for some official news!

  6. Why don’t they just drop a title already? At this point in pre-production they should have a title and at the very least a second or third draft of the script nearing completion. Also, if the title is “such a spoiler” like Blomkamp claimed when asked about the Alien 5 title, maybe, oh, i don’t know, CHANGE IT?
