There are three distinct variations of Velociraptor which were cloned by InGen, not counting sexual dimorphism seen within each individual version. However, despite the surface level variations, each sub-species remains relatively similiar in terms of physical attributes. Each species is roughly 6 feet tall…

Hang on to something — It’s official, Jurassic World 3 has begun principal photography and now has an official title: ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’! Filming is taking place near Cache Creek, a location a little outside of the small town of Merritt in British Columbia, Canada. Not much is known about the shoot, but snow can be seen on the ground in the image shared by Colin Trevorrow, possibly indicating a dramatic change of scenery for the dinosaurs to roam the earth. Also notable in the images is the return of the classic Jurassic Park logo colors – we hope that sticks in place for the final official logo reveal!

‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, BD Wong, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Mamoudou Athie, DeWanda Wise, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, Dichen Lachman, Scott Haze, and Isabella Sermon. ‘Dominion’ was written by Colin Trevorrow and Emily Carmichael, with Trevorrow directing.

Stay tuned, as more news is sure to follow, and welcome back to Jurassic World.

    1. Well I guessed the title would be Jurassic World Domination. Maybe he meant my guesse when he said someone guessed the title. Its almost the same haha.

    2. it wasn’t, I checked the twitter discussion where he congratulated someone for guessing it, except no one mentioned “dominion” so Trevorrow is just full of shit, what an idiot

      1. I didnt mention dominion, but I did mention domination and those basically mean the same… So it could be that he meant my guesse was correct because all the other guesses were way off

  1. Joe Mazzello (Tim) tweeted about getting back to work. I guess Pratt wasn’t kidding when he said they were bringing everyone back. Of course, Mazzello didn’t directly state it’s Jurassic related, but come on.

    1. Read about that. Interesting but I’m personally taking it with a grain of salt, especially with this ‘Dominion’ revelation. Feels like people are intentionally making up things to throw fans off, or just to mess with our heads. Wouldn’t be the first time in Hollywood history.

    2. Just confirm Ariana Richards and we are golden. I know she is a full-time painter now but let her be painting and a dinosaur roams across her backyard. Done.

    3. Still… I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again John Hammond is clearly not coming back cos well Richard Attenborough is well…a bit dead.

  2. Not a fan of the title at all. I dig what the word “Dominion” represents, especially in coloration to what the premise likely is, but it sounds awkward and cheap, especially for what might very well be the last film in this particular timeline. Some of the other proposed titles were far better.

Still, tiny complaint in the long run.

Anyway, I don’t expect much from the film, and I fully expect it to be as ridiculous as Fallen Kingdom, but damn if I’m not excited to see Neill, Dern, Goldblum, and possibly other surprise returning cast members. Hope they don’t play second fiddle to Claire and Owen because if anything, those two need to take the backseat.

  3. Still sounds too pretentious for this popcorn dino movie BUT at least it is short and simple. I am just looking forward to finally getting a more original JW entry. JW was a rehash of JP and JWFK was a rehash of TLW. But since they can’t rehash JP3 due to the island being written out, this is FINALLY a good shot at getting an interesting follow up to the original! Holding thumbs!

    1. Jurassic World: Alive has a fully rendered Feathered Utahraptor Concept art apparently, and it actually looks pretty good!

  4. Just give us some dialogue about Sorna. Have Grant ask why the Hell they couldn’t take the animals there. Have someone explain that Sorna became unstable and extinctions occurred, with Masrani moving what he could to Nublar. Bloody Hell, just add SOMETHING!

  5. Like the title. Better than ‘Fallen Kingdom’. Hopefully this movie won’t have any hybrid dinosaurs and tells us what happened to Isla Sorna.

    1. Colin has already said there won’t be any more hybrids here. As for Sorna, I have never heard him say anything.
