  1. Really happy to see the awesome Jurassic Park III raptors return in visual media. Thanks to the team behind #Jurassic World Evolution for respecting the wishes of countless fans who love this particular Raptor tribe from the Park trilogy. They look good. The Pterosaurs also look as majestic and frightening as they did in JP3. Hope to find time to play this.

  2. So, they can do the bird-like eyes for the JP3 Raptor and not one of the Raptor Squad?

I digress, I still think it’s awesome we got all these.

    1. I guess they figured people would be more excited for the classic Jurassic Park raptors, so they threw more of their energy in that direction.

  3. If I was patient enough to play video games, I would definitely want to play this one. It looks very well detailed and the nostalgia effect is perfect.

  4. May have to wait months before I can play this, can someone just tell me has the user interface (all the menus) been given a new look? I feel like the normal ultra blue would clash.

      1. Honestly, spending too much time in either of the game modes. I think a good mix of the two creates a great contrast, better than either when they’re apart. Of course, their respective buildings are not available for the other.

  5. As if JW needed another nail in it’s coffin. The superior quality of Stan Winston’s designs is undeniable. Why they even tried to change them is absolutely beyond me. I always felt it was actually an insult. I was offended.
But this DLC is all any JP fan ever wanted from the very beginning. the game has finally become worth it’s price and worth any time anyone would put into it. They even added the JP3 male Raptors… I mean, that’s just nothing short of absolutely amazing. Nothing else needs to be said. Why would anyone go back to JW’s designs now?

      1. I don’t know which design you’re referring to, but if it’s the Indoraptor, then…yes, that is honestly the most gorgeous looking animal the JW movies have produced.

          1. Really, the least accurate thing about the Carnotaurus is the fact that it’s arms have visible elbows. Slightly disappointed that we’ll never get to see a chameleon-skinned Carno in the films, but I’m happy that it’s in official canon at all.

    1. Agreed. They should have just remade JPOG and had Jurassic World as an addon. I’ll never use the JW stuff again after now having the JP stuff.

      1. You guys need to think about the fact that frontier would probably love to give us exactly what we want, but universal keeps meddling with EVERYTHING

    2. Can’t we discuss this without having it loop back around to “JW stinks”?

That being said…YES, these designs are SO MUCH BETTER!!! The Tyrannosaur Buck, the JP3 Raptors, the Tiger Raptor…good grief, the TIGER RAPTOR! I never understood why so many people loved that design, but now? Now it’s a contender with the JP3s for my favorite Raptor design.

    3. The ones going back to the World designs are the kids who play this and grew up with World and probably, saddest of all, think Jurassic Park is lame and doesn’t look cool. Games are aimed for certain audiences and Jurassic World is firmly in the ‘young boys’ category- explains the writing you so often criticize don’t it?

      1. Slight objection: I play Jurassic World: Evolution and I’ve in general grown up on JW (I was alive when JP3 was released, but I was too young to remember it), and I think Jurassic Park is awesome and the looks incredibly cool. Even with how not-disappointed I am with the JW movies and content, I will NEVER deny that the original trilogy is better.

      2. I don’t think there is anything wrong with people expressing their opinions about the films. A lot of people dislike the World films for good reason and a lot of people like them. And I disagree Gustav. “For certain audiences” is studio’s lame excuse for quick buck work. “You didn’t enjoy our film because you weren’t the target audience.” No, I didn’t enjoy the film because my time and my money is worth something to me. I also grew up on Jurassic World but Jurassic Park is aesthetically better, creatively more consistent, and overall a better film. Jurassic is what it is because of that film. I think Ian said it best, “you stood on the shoulders of geniuses to accomplish something as fast as you … and slapped it on a plastic lunchbox, and now you’re selling it, you want to sell it!”

        1. Firstly- you obviously misinterpreted what I meant. I was talking about games not films. All games in circulation, and films as well to be honest, have a set target audience in mind. That’s how it works, I’m not making excuses for it it’s just fact.
Second- I agree with what you just expressed.

      3. Geez you make one technically factual generalization and the pc police come at you. No duh people who read this site aren’t going to be part of the brainless masses that will play this game because someone bought it for them. Think before you ram your defensive attitudes down my throats you sniveling pups.

        1. Nothing you said was factual. Except perhaps “aimed at boys”… but then again I am not a boy yet I realize the majority of fans are. But yes, generalizations… but in this case, incorrect generalizations. And absolutely you are in the minority with your “interesting” opinions. And the rest of your comments are nonsensical. When you make comments like that, people with common-sense who by our nature are the opposite of PC police are gonna call you on it. You proved your own facts false with your own comments. Now stop acting like a troglodyte. I bet you don’t even have Sega.

          1. Again you’ve missed the point, not surprising since you think hitting me with a quote from a brat is a clever insult. Kindly get down off your high horse and join us in reality, or stay a foolish brat I don’t care what you do

          2. Also, people are allowed to make generalizations so getting upset that I did to make fun of pseudo-fans shows how clueless you are. Not to mention you contradict yourself in all your comments so your opinion means next to nothing to me.

  6. Although i love going back to Jurassic park, i wish back when battle at big rock aired that they would have changed the design of the allosaurus, they took the original design of the jwfk juvenile allosaurus and enhances it to look older with spikes and larger crests, but never hinted at changing the skin to the actual official design at big rock. And for the kill animations, since they changed the velociraptor and t rex battle, they should really change it with the people, and if by chance add in a acu takedown on foot rather than getting on a helicopter and tranquilizers a dinosaur which I think is kinda boring and unrealistic, if people can send troops on foot then we can actually create battles with the dinosaurs with people.

    1. after both the raptor squad skin pack and the RtJP DLC, i think they should make a fallen kingdom/aftermath pack, with new skins or remodels for all of the dinos in the game that were added free post-release. Carnotaurus could have broken horn skins like the one towards the end, adult allosaurus, the other Nasuto (i forgot which gender is in the game), white Indoraptors, etc.

  7. So I finally coughed up the $19 bucks for this DLC pack. Absolutely loving it thus far! Kind of wish we had more buildings. The “hotels” feel less like hotels and more like VIP lodges. But other than that, this DLC is great!

Building my own Jurassic Park…I’m not gonna lie, it almost feels like I’ve come home somehow…
