There are three distinct variations of Velociraptor which were cloned by InGen, not counting sexual dimorphism seen within each individual version. However, despite the surface level variations, each sub-species remains relatively similiar in terms of physical attributes. Each species is roughly 6 feet tall…

First LEGO Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Set Descriptions! (Possible Spoilers)

Hold on to your bricks – and while we think this article is free from any real spoilers, take a potential spoiler warningjust in case.

Earlier today, LEGO fansite Bouw Steentjes shared the first details and descriptions of some of the upcoming Fallen Kingdom sets. They based their descriptions off of alleged images, but did not post the pictures themselves – as such, an appropriate level of skepticism should be applied, but it does align with what we’re hearing.

We previously reported there would be at least 10 sets, and now have descriptions for four of them from the main line – as of now no additional information is available about the DUPLO or Junior sets. As the original post was in Dutch, Twitter user Arjan Bos was nice enough to provide a translation:

LEGO Set # 75926:

A set containing a blue-grey 4×4 vehicle with a Pteranodon. There is one minifig in the set.
Priced 24.99 EUR

LEGO Set # 75927:

Looks like the Jurassic World Raptor escape. The difference is that the set looks more like a residence instead of a cage. The walls are high and there’s some kind of stage on which a minifig can stand. Looks like it only contains one raptor and two minifigs in the set.
Priced 39.99 EUR

LEGO Set # 75928:

A set with a helicopter, which, from what we can take from the picture, can capture a dinosaur from the air. The dino most likely being a raptor. Also a small vehice is included, probably a quad. Number of minifigs unknown.
Priced 59.99 EUR

LEGO Set # 75929:

This is a more expensive set, containing a big transport truck, like seen in 75917 Raptor Rampage, a gyrosphere, a tower with grapple hook and a T-Rex. The number of minifigs is uncertain, but it looks to be 4.
Priced 79.99 EUR

Pteranodons, Velociraptors, and Tyrannosaurs – oh my! While the descriptions leave a lot to the imagination, they do seem to be in theme with what we know about the latest Jurassic Park film. Namely, dinosaur capture/rescue operations. We’re sure one of the Velocirators will be Blue, but are certainly curious about the others! The LEGO Jurassic World 2018 lineup hits shelves April 16th, and is expected to be unveiled at the New York Toy Fair in February.

Finally, while not LEGO related, we have a small picture update of Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom promotional displays (shoutout to Fede on Twitter for the heads up!). Shared by JPItalia on Facebook, these images come straight from a licensing expo in China. While many of the assets are recycled, we have a good look at the new CG model for Blue and “Roberta” (the original Jurassic Park T.rex)

Check out the rest of the images at the link!

Stay tuned – if we see the LEGO images ourselves we’ll update the article with more detailed, accurate descriptions. As always sound off in the comments below, and let us know what you want from the Fallen Kingdom LEGO sets!

Huge thanks again to Arjan Bos for helping with the Lego news translation!

    1. I think the “raptor escape set” that looks like a “residence” is a set from Hammond’s Partner’s black market Dino selling rumor. It even has a stage it says. I bet they are having a refined Dino/ cattle auction in the movie and it gets loose.

      1. Hopefully the raptor in the residence is a indoraptor. And i think blue is in the helicopter set because blue is still alive and on isla nublar and Owen grady is probably in the set to!:)

  1. Rob… Roberta? Uh… I’m… Going to keep calling her Rexy or Rexie, thank you very much. While she’s old, she doesn’t deserve to be punished with a name like that…

Also: I spy with my little eye: Rexy, Blue and… Delta? Because that’s most definitely Delta.

Does this mean that D survived getting thrown about by the Indominus? I mean… Wouldn’t be all that surprising, considering Blue survived getting bitch-slapped into a concrete pillar with enough power to crack the pillar itself.

Delta got grabbed by the Indominus with the front of the Indominus’ jaw, so the Indominus probably couldn’t put enough force on the bite to break her spine or anything. It wasn’t even a killing bite either, more a “GET OFF!!” kind of bite after which she threw Delta away.

        1. No, Rexy was used by a drunken Muldoon in the books, not the film. It would be like calling Jaws “You son of a Bitch”

    1. In “Jurassic World: Evolution”, all the raptors kinda look like Delta. My personal theory is that Blue fell in with a pack of Velociraptors that had been breeding in the wild parts of Isla Nublar after Jurassic World. I’m pretty sure Delta is still dead.

      1. You mean that there would be a pack of raptors in the wild parts from the first park? Because in JW there were only 4 raptors.
Would be very cool if there are wild raptors btw!
Maybe raptors from Isla Sorna found a way to get to Nublar or there’s a Site C.
Anyway 1 thing is for sure; Life finds a way 😉

        1. Just because Blue, Charlie, Delta, and Echo were the only raptors we saw in the movie doesn’t mean they were the only ones. I am not against your theory but the four raptors that came out in the movie were part of a special division we’re they being trained, there could have been a velociraptor exhibit/paddock somewhere else in Jurassic World.

  2. That second Raptor in the linked images is damaged. It has what look like blisters and scarring on it. See the jaw and side. Strange.

  3. And there is Delta! That’s great! I knew she was alive!

And the T-Rex, man I’m really curious about how she’s doing. She’s old, but there are probably enough herbivores that aren’t fast enough, so I think she’s alright.

But the Mosasaur, how can she survive? We know there’s a submarine scene, so we probably gonna see her, but in what state?

    1. the ‘mosasaurus lake’ is a huge body of water and would attracked many dinosaurs. and in the end of jw the mosa jumps out of the lake and crushes the fence thing around the lake. so there’s a hole and a dino could jump in or drink something and the mosa grabs it, goes underwater again and eats. thats how she probably survived. or she jumped over some wall like willy (free willy) and goes for a swim.

    1. if the lego company would do this i hope they make a new print for the trike because i have the trike and what to do w\ a duplicate? and in the dino line w\ all the yellow vehicles there were two kinds of colours reddish brown\ orange and green\ darker green all the dinos had both colours but the trike didnt… whats up w\ that?

  4. i hope they would make a brachiosaurus from the lego game. that would be awesome. they could also make a set with that big suv thing from the trailer with owen and claire where they drive by the (probably) dead ankylosaurus. the anky would be possible cause the designs are there (again in the lego game)
