  1. For JURASSIC WORLD: AMBER COLLECTION velociraptor Blue, the feet should just be smaller and perhaps the jaws a little longer or the head a little larger. I hope so much that Mattel will also do in this collection: the Tyrannosaurus rex of Jurassic World, The Lost World and JP3 (even if they will be the same size as the “Super Colossal Tyrannosaurus Rex”) as long as they respect the proportions: especially the size of the feet and the head compared to the rest of the body; and the male velociraptor from Jurassic Park 3 where you just have to change the colors, the head and add thorns or proto-feather behind the head.

    1. Thank you, COURTY. This comment is relevant, not too long, and understandable. And i agree with you. No more complaining from me.

  2. Mattel has just fallen further and further since the initial Fallen Kingdom wave.
The Amber Collection is beautiful, well sculpted, and perfect for collectors however the major draw of the Jurassic franchise is human/dinosaur interaction. A six inch tall human at twenty or so bucks means I don’t even want to imagine any of the larger dinosaurs being brought into the line- only rich collectors could afford them. So as awesome as these figures are I’m ignoring them, there’s no future in my collection for them.
Now what Mattel NEEDS to do is revive the Legacy Collection and humans and vehicles for the regular 3.75 inch line because that’s gone straight to hell since all they’ve done the past several waves are dinosaurs.
It’s bizarre to me how they can be clueless as to how this franchise works.

    1. I, for one, am not particularly bothered by the focus on dinosaurs. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see some new toys of the classic vehicles and characters, but I guess I’m just fine with things as they are now. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t be happy with new offerings, of course, it’s just no skin off my nose.

    2. You mean those 3.75 inch human figures that either shelfwarm or get discounted or both?

It’s bizarre to me how JP fans can be clueless as to how business works.

      1. Considering the entire line since they started doing dinosaurs only became nothing but shelfwarmers, the fault is not with JP fans but Mattel. Yes new molds cost money however it’s a gamble they should take.
And Legacy Collection humans didn’t shelf warm- Fallen Kingdom humans did so, there it is.
Fact is Mattel doesn’t know what their doing now because they’ve tapped out the dinosaur love and need something new to revitalize the line- that’s also how business works, ensure your product grabs attention which unfortunately it doesn’t anymore.
So careful who you call clueless you arrogant prick.

        1. What is it, Gustav? Can’t take what you dish out yourself and therefore you start to throw around personal insults?

Well, I’ve heard different reports, which also lead to Hammond being an SDCC/EE Exclusive.

          1. Pathetic how you think you’ve riled me up in some way- just proves your arrogance.
Besides I’m not the asshole who insulted an entire fandom and presumed they don’t know about business simply from a statement of what it would be nice to see Mattel do- despite the long odds.

        2. Since the Reply button does not show up for the other post:
Maybe I should have directly called you clueless. Of course the JP fandom, has it’s fair share of other whiny, clueless people.

          1. Let’s see- one person simply says what they’d like to see Mattel do, the other admits to openly trying to insult them.
You’re right, the fandom has whiny people- all of them do. They also all have self righteous trolls who enjoy poking people for either a laugh or because they can’t see themselves in anything but a positive light and think they know everything.
In this case I’m not the troll.
I’ve already proven I’m not clueless as you claim. Further discourse with you is a waste of my time. Have a nice life.

      1. Hmm not so sure on that. They’re available on Amazon US as exclusives & UK toy site has said they’ve heard Amazon UK will be getting them around summer time. Just waiting for an official confirmation.

      2. Jurassic Toys UK website confirmed with a Mattel Rep that Amazon UK will be getting them in the summer. They also confirmed UK chain Argos would get the Brachiosaur (which they did). So im hoping they’re right.

      3. Well I’m man enough to admit when I’m wrong lol.
Still doesn’t change the fact these are a bit pricey when you add in shipping costs and that royally sucks. No surprise tho, Wave one has been nothing but shelfwarmers at all my local GameStops

  3. Half of owen looks reused from malcolm. More $$$
Same raptor sculpt diff paint…More $$$
And now we have to pay more for Owen and Blue over the Big one and Malcolm…🤦🤦🤷👎

This is getting old quick Mattel!!!

    1. THANK YOU!! Someone else sees the light hallelujah! Yeah I’m tired of Mattel jerking us around with repaints and random dinos, hope they wake up soon.

    2. Well, that is how business works. New molds are expensive and redecos allow more use of them, with the extra money being used to make more molds.

  4. I really hope that Mattel will have the balls to release bigger Dinos. I know that dinos like the T-Rex will probably be the largest they would possibly go here, and sure, he’d probably retail for $70-90. BUT I would still really like to see that/buy that. I also hope maybe we get some medium dinos, like the Baryonyx from Fallen Kingdom, or even a juvenile Triceratops. A pack of compys could be neat too.

    1. Yo CityRaptor I found your real ‘clueless’ over here! Tho honestly there’s no cluelessness just wishful thinking.
As amazing as an Amber Collection Rexy would be, there’s a reason Hasbro in their 6inch Star Wars line doesn’t do ships and creatures that often- cost efficiency. It would be incredibly expensive to make them and the odds of getting that money back are slim. That’s why they’re usually exclusives.
Also Mattel doesn’t have balls. At all. If they did they’d have tried harder to make the Legacy Collection work as 3.75 inch figures are cheaper to produce. So Mattel- no balls, no brains.
We can all dream tho. As our wallets see our dreams and cry themselves to sleep…

      1. I would say that making bigger figures is the greater risk. So they do have balls.
They also know that the 3.75 figurs don’t sell, so they brains enough to not make more of them.
So yeah, they do have both, balls and brains.

Besides, the Super Colossal T.rex pretty much is in scale with the Amber Collection.

  5. Would be nice if the Dilo’s frill was propped with wire so you could extend it or lay it back against the neck. I love their long necks but the frill is either never present or a detachable. Maybe it should be a detachable again?

    1. Probably a far-fetched idea, but it’d be cool if they had some way that you could actually retract the frill like in the movies. Probably couldn’t be done, but still.

  6. I love how it is only the silhouette of Nedry and the Dilo as if they want it to be a secret, but we all know what it is within a couple of seconds! 😉
